E3 2016: 10 Things We Learned From Titanfall 2's Single Player Trailer

7. You'll Be Fighting A Diverse Set Of Enemies

Keeping with the theme of diversifying combat beyond your normal run of the mill run n' gun gameplay, players will have to contend with a multitude of enemies, both mechanised and otherwise.

We've already taken a look at the wildlife that looks extremely hostile to anything with a pulse, and the trailer showed off some fairly menacing combatants too. There are nasty exploding spider-robots, mechs of various shapes and sizes, and of course your average ordinary grunt. You'll be hard pressed to find something not to shoot at, and as you'll be doing it with mechs, rifles and explosives - all while running along walls I might add - in a breakneck fashion, there'll be little time to pause. It makes a change from the usual rank and file infantry that most commonly populate FPS games these days, and having seen the amount of weaponry players will be able to get to grips with, it's hard not to get just that little bit excited.

No news on if you'll be able to take on those giant dropships yet, but in any case, there were plenty of foes in this one trailer to fill an entire game. In any case, more surprises in the game are an inevitability, so don't expect to have seen every enemy in the brief few minutes of footage we were shown.
