E3 2016: 7 Ups & 5 Downs From Microsoft's Conference
10. Time Wasted On Battlefield 1 & "Features"
Considering how precious the time on the E3 stage should be seen as, it was super irritating to see Microsoft pad their conference full of ridiculous filler.
For one, they showed off the exact same Battlefield 1 trailer that had been unveiled earlier in EA's conference, and then devoted needless time to explaining several "features" being added to Xbox Live that really should've been there since the beginning (namely the ability to play background music, language options that aren't region-locked, Microsoft's Cortana and a fleet of social options).
These things aren't important to most gamers and could've been announced on social media after the conference or something. Perhaps this is all just indicative of Microsoft not having enough material to fill 90 minutes instead...
