It finally, finally, finally has happened. After almost a decade in development and some 7 years after it was first revealed to the public, The Last Guardian has an (apparently) concrete release date: October 25th of this year.
It's been a long, long road, and though October is increasingly looking like it's going to drain the wallets of just about anyone who gives the faintest damn about video games, The Last Guardian will easily be taking priority for a large quarter of gamers.
After so much heartbreak and waiting, it's such a relief that one of the decade's most anticipated games is almost upon us.
