4. Horizon: Zero Dawn Gets Extended Gameplay

The conference also served up a lengthy gameplay clip from Guerrilla Games' Horizon Zero Dawn, demonstrating the game's combat mechanics against the world's mechanical dinosaur creatures, as well as the ability to tame smaller creatures and ride them around the landscape.
A boss fight against a larger mech was particularly thrilling, and though the footage didn't really quell the fears of those skeptical about the amount of gameplay variety, the mechanics themselves seem rock solid and the game is of course totally gorgeous.
With it due for release next February, there's still plenty of time for Guerrilla to illustrate how Horizon will keep us compelled.
