E3 2017: 14 Announcements You Probably Missed
1. Retro Studios Isn't Making Metroid Prime 4
Metroid Prime 4 was finally, finally announced during Nintendo's spotlight, and most fans rightly assumed that it would be developed by Retro Studios, considering they made all three of the core Metroid Prime games fans know and love.
However, Nintendo later revealed that Retro has no involvement in the new title, but it will instead be developed by a "talented new team" who will be working under producer Kensuke Tanabe.
Though it's rather worrying that Retro isn't working on it, Nintendo knows how much Metroid means to fans, so fingers crossed they'll give them the quality sequel they've been craving for a decade.
