VR had a surprisingly strong showing at E3 this year with the likes of Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim getting full VR ports, not to mention the strong line-up of PSVR games on the way.

It was only a matter of time really, but the immensely popular The Walking Dead is heading into the VR space, with the confirmation of "multiple" VR titles which will feature new settings and characters for the series.

Little is known about the games themselves, but it was said that they will feature "an innovative contextual interaction system", which somewhat seems to suggest they may be similar to the Telltale interactive adventures, though of course, nothing is certain yet.

No word on a projected release date, but the game will come out for PSVR, HTC Vive and Oculus.
