8. Beyond Good & Evil 2 Is At "Day Zero" Of Development

Ubisoft shocked the world by closing their E3 conference with the surprise reveal that, indeed, Beyond Good and Evil 2 is a thing, and is definitely happening.

It's always a tad suspicious when a studio shows off a glossy CGI trailer without any gameplay (aside from a brief glimpse of a tech demo in this case), and the game's director Michel Ancel would later confirm it to in fact be in "day zero of development".

Essentially, he's saying that development proper hasn't started yet, and so it's safe to say that BGE2 is at least a few years off, and you'd be pretty optimistic if you expect to see it before 2019 or 2020.

Still, it's definitely coming out, which is really all fans needed to hear for now.
