E3 2017: 18 Biggest WTF Moments
9. Nintendo's Terrible CGI Backgrounds
Even though Nintendo's show was just 25 minutes long, they managed to cram plenty of terrible CGI into their livestream, placing Reggie Fils-Aime and others in front of blatantly digital green screen creations that just made the presentation look rather cheap and lousy...even if it's still miles ahead of the low-effort look to Nintendo's digital events over the last few years.
It was goofy as Hell, but Nintendo got away with it far easier than Sony and Microsoft would have, given how much more seriously they tend to take themselves. Still, can't a billion-dollar company front for some better visual effects, or failing that maybe just fly their presenters to actual, appealing locations?
