2. Minecraft...In 4K

Microsoft revealed in their show that Minecraft would be receiving a "Super Duper Graphics Pack", upgrading the game with more realistic textures and lighting for 4K resolution.

It's a bizarre move for a game that's never once prided itself on its state-of-the-art visuals (or lack thereof), though in fairness the lighting did look pretty swish, even if it's the last game you'd probably ever expect to see used as an example of 4K's benefits.

It's fine for fans, of course, but a lot of viewers were no doubt zoning out around this point in the conference.
