E3 2017: 5 Ups & 4 Downs From Nintendo Spotlight

1. Attack Of The Terrible CGI

Nintendo Spotlight 2017 Reggie Fils Aime

Poor Reggie Fils-Aime: the guy just couldn't catch a break during the show, being awkwardly shoved into not one but two blatant CGI green screen backgrounds.

He started off inside a not-too-bad digital house, before it unfolded and unconvincingly left Reggie hanging out in a field, and later on, he was transported to a laughably bad beach, complete with a distractingly fake ferris wheel in the background.

At least Nintendo is a goofy enough company that they can just about get away with something like this, but it was still totally painful to the eyes all the same.

To their credit, though, Nintendo got a lot of good done during their mere 25 minutes...
