3. Metro: Exodus Looks Awesome

A new Metro game is on the way, Metro Redux, and though it won't be landing until next year, the short gameplay sequence looked visually impressive in much the same vein as its predecessors.

Little is known about the game's story, but the clip showed off plenty of action both below and above ground, as well as giant mutated animals, bleakly gorgeous vistas, and a daring escape sequence.

The gameplay also seemed to suggest that Metro is at least somewhat going the open-world route, and though the clip was very blatantly scripted, it still looked like a damn fine continuation of the franchise.
