E3 2018: 10 Announcements That Would Change Everything
1. The PlayStation 5 Is Revealed
Leaks, rumours and speculation have placed the PlayStation 5 as something that is firmly in development. With the PS4 doing so well, would it be so crazy for Sony to announce the PS5 now? Yes, yes it would.
Although the existence of the PlayStation 5 may be pretty obvious, by no means has it been confirmed by Sony or any other developer. Therefore, giving even a little tease of the next big black box would make this year's E3 an absolute game changer, even more if they decide to actually show it off a little.
By announcing that the future of Sony isn't as far away as you think, it puts the ball firmly in Sony's court in terms of how the next generation might go. Some may say it's too soon, but if the PS5 is impressive enough, now might be the perfect time to start hyping it up.
The possibility of this happening is so slim that it could absolutely make E3. No matter how slim it is, there's still a chance of it coming true.
