E3 2018: 10 PS4 Predictions That Must Come True

1. First Death Stranding Gameplay

Unlike most video games, players have known about Death Stranding pretty much since it was a mere idea in Hideo Kojima's mind. The director's departure from Konami and subsequent partnership with Sony was all documented in real time, and that momentum was capitalised on by the new studio showing off footage of their game as soon as they had something up and running.

Consequently, fans have seen Death Stranding morph from a simple concept trailer into increasingly complex, lengthy story reveals at every Playstation conference. After so many years of CG trailers though, now is finally the time for Kojima to show off a big chunk of gameplay.

Sure, there's no doubt that the title is still a ways off yet, but it would be underwhelming if they once again came out and showed the world another vague teaser trailer. Sony must know that, and if they want players to maintain interest in Kojima's weird and wonderful release, then they need to show off what they'll actually be doing in it.
