Devil May Cry 5 is one of the worst kept secrets in the industry. Leaking over and over again, for years fans have been sure that an authentic, new numbered instalment in the classic demon-slaying franchise is inbound - it's merely been a case of when it will be shown off.

Initial rumours suggested PSX last year, but they were quickly changed to point towards a full reveal at E3 2018. Capcom have further added fuel to the fire, announcing that they have two major unannounced titles which will hit shelves before the end of the upcoming fiscal year.

Consequently it seems inevitable that the sequel is going to be announced once June rolls around, but what's still up in the air is whether or not the game will be exclusive to Sony's platform.

One leak seemingly pointed towards that being true, and considering Sony's history with the series - as well as their relationship with Capcom - it wouldn't be out the question to see the sequel officially announced on Sony's stage as a PS4 exclusive.
