E3 2018: 10 PS4 Predictions That Must Come True
7. Exclusive Red Dead Redemption 2 Content
Although Rockstar don't usually concern themselves with what the industry at large is up to, they do have a strong relationship with Sony. Maybe that's to make up for the exclusive Agent game that never actually materialised or whether they just like working together, but either way, if one of the developer's games shows up at E3, it'll be on Sony's stage.
Consequently, there's a good chance that Red Dead Redemption 2 could get a major gameplay unveiling at the Playstation conference. With only a few months to go before it releases, fans have seen surprisingly little of the anticipated sequel, meaning a major blow out is more than overdue.
More than that though, Sony's partnership could ensure that the PS4 version gets some form of exclusive content to entice players over to that edition. So far the trailers for the game have been running on the Xbox One X, so it makes sense that the publisher would want to associate the game with the Playstation brand somehow.
If there is exclusive content it will probably only be a timed deal, but that would still be an incentive to get players to pick up the game on PS4.
