While third-party support is obviously important to Sony's business plan, showing games that are already going to have a huge presence at the conference should be kept to a minimum. The bigger ones especially, like Destiny and Call of Duty, are ubiquitous anyway, oversaturated with marketing and advertising.

Players already know all about them, and extended showings at Sony's conference only takes time away from exclusive - or more exciting - games that could get that airtime.

Though it's cool that Sony has partnerships with the publishers, when Destiny or COD shows up at the conference, every viewer knows they can nip out for a toilet break, not even because of a lack of interest, but because they already know what to expect from these franchises.

Sure, these titles are popular, but fans are going to buy them regardless, and Sony should make more space for games players don't already know the ins and outs of.
