E3 2018: 10 PS4 Predictions That Must Come True
5. A Major Third-Party VR Game
Though the PSVR is a great piece of tech which boasted some surprisingly stellar launch games, the quality of releases has tragically dropped off since the initial honeymoon period.
Even developers who started strong, like Supermassive Games, have started to release the kind of games everyone worried the console would be lumped with.
After nearly two years on the market, then, the PSVR needs another system seller that does its tech justice. Unfortunately, integration with big, third-party AAA releases hasn't been as widespread as fans would have hoped, but that could change going forward.
Resident Evil 7 set a bar that hasn't even come close to being topped, and Sony needs another game on that level to show off at E3 if they want to keep people interested in the add-on.
