Several rumours about the game have come out since it's announcement, with some suggesting that the game will resemble Resident Evil 4 with an over-the-shoulder camera. Although this sounds pretty great, it could be pretty polarising to fans of the original game.

Capcom also recently registered a domain for Resident Evil 2, which hints that an announcement will be coming sometime soon. With the relationship between Capcom and Sony being pretty great right now, it makes a whole lot of sense that this could make an appearance at their show too.
