3. Syphon Filter Remake

Back to the Polygon leak, and though this one is firmly filed under "we've heard it's happening" and nothing more, it makes sense that Sony Bend would revisit Syphon Filter as part of their reintroduction into triple-A game development.

2018's E3 will also mark a lengthy gameplay demo of Days Gone - the open world zombie survival title they've had in the works since 2015. Syphon Filter being remade/remastered would sit nicely alongside Spyro and Medieval as another PS1 classic with a sizeable nostalgic pull.

Essentially played as a run n' gunner, back in the day this was unfairly compared to Metal Gear Solid thanks to its western action hero look. Though with an assumed 60fps frame rate and nicely polished levels, it could become a superbly playable arcade gem.
