2. Mortal Kombat 11

Coming from none other than NetherRealm's own Ed Boon, this could easily just be a random rhetorical hint... or another Mortal Kombat.

It's easy to forget when the studio are knocking it out the PARK with Injustice, that their more premiere brawler is sitting on the sidelines. Mortal Kombat's genius soft reboot was back in 2011, with MK X back in 2015.

Though the tenth instalment was received well enough, it seemed to live on with more positive press off the back of various pop culture characters included as DLC. At this stage enough time has passed, Injustice is in the can and MK is up to bat, so hopefully Boon's furtive tweet is indicative of a full game reveal.
