9. Gears Of War 5, Gears RTS & Gears Royale

Included in a massive writeup over on Polygon, they nonchalantly noted that not one but three Gears of War games were rumoured to be in development.

Set to be shown off at E3, they are:

- Gears of War 5: The main continuation of the franchise, featuring the level of single-player campaign and multiplayer modes we've come to expect.

- Gears of Royale: The title is a codename/one used in-house, but basically The Coalition are repackaging Gears into a Battle Royale mould. Assumedly this will mean airdrops, weapons found across a large expanse of land and an encroaching play-space (likely done through swarms of kryll hounding the battlefield).

- A top-down Halo Wars-style RTS: A very out-of-left-field decision, though Halo Wars certainly has an audience, and with large scale warfare titles like DotA and League of Legends dominating the PC space, this could be a gamble that pays off.
