E3 2018: 11 HUGE Video Game Leaks You're Not Supposed To Know
8. Rocksteady's Superman
Having taken their sweet time - most likely because this upcoming Superman project requires a hell of a lot of work engine-wise to make the character "work" - Rocksteady are set to return alongside The Man of Steel himself.
According to a major gameplay leak on 4Chan (which has now been deleted, lending weight to its legitimacy), there's a ton to look forward to.
We broke each component down over here, but a quick roundup includes a frenetic in-flight combat model with destructible scenery, a Metropolis three-times as big as Arkham Knight's Gotham, and a multiplayer mode that will segue into a full Justice League game. Honestly, I think the latter is far less likely considering the tanking status of the DCEU in cinemas (hence the cancelled Suicide Squad game), but Rocksteady have had three years-plus to create an Arkham followup, and E3 is the time to show it off.
Lastly, Rocksteady endorsed the character by sending a Superman-themed cake to NetherRealm in honour of Injustice 2:
Why send a Superman cake when your studio is synonymous with Batman, hmm??
