E3 2018: 12 Showcased Video Games We Still Know Nothing About

1. Death Stranding

E3 2018
Kojima Productions

We don't know anything about this game, but that isn't a bad thing. Similar to Control, Death Stranding isn't on this list due to a lack of information, but rather none of the information and gameplay making any sense. At least, in anyone's mind other than Hideo Kojima.

It's clear the game is a massive puzzle, and as a result, we have been given a few pieces, but not enough to get a whole picture. We have gameplay, but it looks so absolutely mental that we aren't able to conceive the world Kojima is building.

Death Stranding remains bloody interesting and frankly, the sheer insanity is one of the game's biggest selling points. For every question they "answered", we now have a dozen more.

So far, we know you play as Norman Reedus, who is a mailman trying to avoid invisible floating smoke monsters tethered to the sky with umbilical cords - all while using magic babies to be able to see them.

Frankly, it's looking to be a realistic simulation of a British mailman's job, forty-eight hours after Brexit.

I like video games, writing and writing about video games. Expect sarcasm and the dry wit of a Brit. And the occasional rant of a unhappy Scot. You know... the usual.
