6. Hunk & Tofu Will Return In Resident Evil 2 Remake

Easily one of the most exciting reveals at E3 this year was Capcom finally unveiling Resident Evil 2 Remake, with a litany of gameplay footage showing off just how gorgeous it looks in the nifty RE Engine.

With the new RE2 being more of a re-imagining of the 1998 classic than a straight remake, though, some fans were anxious that some of the original game's more charmingly offbeat elements might've been excluded, such as bonus characters Hunk and Tofu.

One of the game's producers, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, was asked whether they were in the game and excitedly replied, "Of course! Yes! Both the Fourth Survivor and Tofu modes will be included in the game."

Much like the original RE2, it probably won't be easy to unlock these extra play-modes, but the fact the new version will still allow you to play as a giant, knife-totting piece of tofu shows the game isn't taking itself too seriously to its detriment.
