2. Nioh 2 Is Coming

One of the more surprising left-field reveals was the announcement that a sequel to last year's cult action PS4 RPG Nioh is in the works. The brief trailer didn't really show off much of significance, but it at least confirmed that Team Ninja is back for the follow-up, so there's every reason to expect another intense, fiendishly challenging experience.

Sony's show may have been lacking many significant megaton surprises, but this was a neat little treat all the same, all the more so considering the general lack of pre-E3 speculation about it.
