E3 2018: Every High-Profile Video Game Confirmed So Far
11. The Division 2
Announced to the barest mouse fart of a response, in honesty, The Division deserves to be a far bigger, far more beloved franchise.
Put simply, it's got Ubisoft's best third-person shooting mechanics - not to mention the innovative, Dark Souls-esque Dark Zone where you get matched against solo and groups of players without the game telling you. This latter mode should've spearhearded The Division's marketing at every step, as you could dynamically go from open-world busywork and loot-shooting, into a survivalist deathmatch where radial audio gives away who's nearby.
It's honestly a fantastic mode, and provided Ubi can write a script that justifies the Mad Max-esque gangs and overblown gun violence enough to get by, this could catch on in a big way.
