E3 2018: Predicting Release Dates For The Biggest Games

Ubisoft's pirate actioner was first announced at E3 last year, and the gameplay demo at this year's show made it clear the game's, ahem, ship-shape (sorry).

Though originally set to release in 2018, the game was pushed back to the next fiscal year, meaning it won't land until next April at the absolute earliest. That said, given the original planned 2018 release, it's hard to imagine it slipping into the second half of next year.

Prediction: June 7, 2019. Ubi won't want to step on their own toes by releasing too close to The Division 2, so a June release would place it perfectly between that and the inevitable Assassin's Creed sequel in October. Plus, isn't a pirate game just kinda fun for the summer?
