E3 2018: Predicting Release Dates For The Biggest Games
16. Devil May Cry 5
The long-awaited Devil May Cry sequel has already been given a prospective Q1 2019 date by Capcom, meaning it'll 100% release by March 31 at the very latest (bar any surprise delays).
Q1 is already incredibly stacked so there's not a ton of room for DMC5 to stake out an uncontested spot, but it's safe to say it won't be releasing anywhere near the February 22 death slot, which already has Anthem, Crackdown 3, Days Gone and Metro Exoxus battling it out.
Prediction: March 22, 2019. January is a no-go for Capcom as they're launching Resident Evil 2 Remake then, but in March the only tentpole release currently scheduled is The Division 2 on March 15. Given their distinctly different target audiences, the two should be able to co-exist without too much trouble.
