E3 2018: Predicting Release Dates For The Biggest Games

11. Doom Eternal

The widely-expected sequel to 2016's smash hit Doom reboot was announced during Bethesda's E3 conference, though disappointingly there wasn't any gameplay revealed.

It's looking like the game will get its proper unveiling at QuakeCon in August, and it's hard to imagine Bethesda wanting to veer too far from the previous game's late-spring release, especially with so many of their recent titles bombing commercially despite strong reviews.

Prediction: May 17, 2019. This would give Bethesda 9 months to build hype following that presumed QuakeCon gameplay reveal, and considering the previous game soared on a similar release date in 2016, why tinker with a winning formula?
