E3 2021: 7 Biggest Announcements From Square Enix Presents

3. Life Is Strange: True Colours

Final Fantasy 1 Garland
Dontnod

Life is Strange: True Colours was announced earlier this year but the E3 Square Enix Presents gave us a lot more information on it.

The new trailer gives us information about the story. In Life is Strange: True Colours you play as new protagonist Alex as she uses her empathic powers to uncover the truth about her brother Gabe's death.

Players will be able to use Alex's powers to essentially read people's minds - using this power, they can impact the story.

The game highlights a point in the story where you uncover the secret that a man named Mack thinks he's going to lose his girlfriend. You can then use this information to tell Mack's girlfriend when Mack is lying to her - pretty standard Life is Strange stuff. Use your weird powers to alter what is going to happen in the story, and presumably those choices will lead to a few different possible endings.

It looks like Life is Strange: True Colours will be just as corny yet weirdly enjoyable as the other games in the franchise.

Life is Strange: True Colours is coming September 10th, 2021 to PS5, PS4, Steam, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Stadia.
