E3 2021: 7 Biggest Announcements From The Ubisoft Conference
2. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks Of Hope
Nintendo was apparently so sick and tired of their games getting leaked that they decided to do it themselves. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope came as a surprise to nobody, as just like the original Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, the game was leaked prior to the conference - this time by Nintendo themselves.
Nevertheless, it was nice seeing more details on the sequel to the surprisingly good Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.
This time the game takes place in outer space, this is going to be the closest thing to Super Mario Galaxy 3 we’re getting, isn’t it?
There's a lot to take from the almost eight minutes of content we were shown, which included quite a bit of actual gameplay. It appears like there are zombie versions of Mario enemies which are weirdly terrifying.
New additions like a Rabbid Rosalina are nice. Gameplay-wise the additions of Sparks seem to be this game's big gimmick. Sparks are fusions of Lumas and Rabbids and they contain powers which Mario and pals can harness to do powerful attacks.
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022.
