8. Golden-Eyed Enemies Give 5x The Amount Of Runes

As you journey across the Lands Between, keep an eye out for any enemies that literally have glowing gold eyes.

Though they'll be more aggressive and harder to kill, emerge victorious and they'll drop 4-5 times the amount of standard Runes. In terms of triggering/spawning, it feels random, though they seem to pop up in early-game areas, when revisiting at a high level.

All this can make a trip back through older areas more worthwhile, giving even more Runes if combined with the "golden flake" weather event I mentioned earlier.
