9. Poison & Scarlet Rot Damage Is Your Friend (Seek The Dragon Communion)
Another Breath of the Wild mentality to apply comes from how you think of elementals - which is to say, Elden Ring has greater reliance on elemental and specific magic type damage than any Souls game before it.
Know that sleep magic works well on Godskin enemies - especially that thing at bottom of the Caelid tower - gravity magic downs aerial foes like the blade-footed eagles very fast, and Holy magic works a treat on cursed creatures.
For the latter you can even deal damage using radial heal animations meant for parties and NPCs. "Cursed" enemies will take damage from the power of the Erdtree in the spell itself, as this "holy" power directly opposes the twisted, multi-limbed beasts that are afflicted across the land.
