Elder Scrolls: 10 Best Oblivion Quests
5. An Unexpected Voyage
With all of the killing and adventuring going on in the world of Elder Scrolls, it's important to remember to take some time to rest up and get a good night's sleep from time to time.
An Unexpected Voyage kicks off when a player goes to sleep in The Bloated Float, a ship/tavern located in the Waterfront of the Imperial City. When the player wakes up, they'll find themselves lost at sea having been kidnapped by pirates. Working their way through each level of the ship will eventually lead players to Graman, the ship's bouncer, who tells them that they will need to rescue the High Elf Ormil from the pirate captain in order to get back home.
As well as being a unique idea for a side quest, An Unexpected Voyage also offers players plenty of variety in how they handle their kidnapping. The classic tried and tested method of running rampage and killing everyone the player finds works well enough, but if they hold their blade and sneak through the ship, overhearing conversations and learning more about the pirate's backgrounds, there's a unique method of besting these foes.
