Elder Scrolls 6: 10 Features It MUST Have
9. Multi-Continent World Map
The world of Skyrim is vast and certainly not lacking in attractive locations and exciting things to do. It does well at separating the different regions and giving them each a different look and feel. Each biome has its own types of plants and creatures inhabiting it, it's own history.
Overall, for a game from 2011, Skyrim pretty much nailed the world. It’s big, it’s beautiful, and it’s full of places to explore.
The idea of having more than one full continent in Skyrim would have been thought crazy given the hardware limitations of the time. Sure, mods like Moonpath to Elsweyr and Beyond Skyrim: Bruma (amongst others) give you the option to travel to different continents, both of which were very impressive.
With the hardware available today there is no excuse not to include multiple continents in The Elder Scrolls 6. Even if it is just smaller regions of two continents, this would still potentially create a lot of replay value.
The politics of the game world could become a lot more interesting. The items, weapons and armour could vary drastically depending on which region you are in. Certain guilds and factions could only be able to operate in specific areas.
