Elder Scrolls 6: 10 Features It MUST Have
8. Improved Combat
Skyrim’s combat system was clunky and rigid, failing to give the player much choice or variety in how they were going to attack. The animations were few, and the ones that where there were present left much to be desired. It felt like your character was swinging their sword whilst they stood perfectly still.
Of course, with Skyrim being an RPG game, the combat was satisfactory for the time, especially considering the game had lots more going for it than just the fighting.
The combat in The Elder Scrolls 6 should blow us out of the water. It is clear that Bethesda has been trying to give their games more mass appeal by moving towards Action RPG titles, so to make the combat smoother and more fluid for TES 6 would be a good move for them.
We want to really feel like a fleet-footed assassin, gliding through dungeons whilst swiftly dispatching our enemies as we go. We want to feel the raw power and heaviness of our fully-armoured brute smashing and bashing their way through bandits with bone-crunching impact.
