The Elder Scrolls VI: 10 Awesome Locations That Could Be Used

2. Hammerfell

The main site of resistance to the Aldmeri Dominion during the Fourth era, Hammerfell encompasses a large portion of the Tamriel map and is home to the Human Redguard race. To progress the story of the Aldmeri Dominion's campaign, Hammerfell as the next game's location could serve as one of the last bastions of resistance against the Thalmor's expedition across Tamriel. A departure from the cold north, Hammerfell is a landscape featuring mountainous regions, grasslands, and a vast desert. There is a high amount of trade with the other provinces in its border towns, making one of these urban centers a great starting point for the player/protagonist. Due to trade, intercultural interaction is the norm in these cities, meaning they provide a logically sound story beginning for any race decisions the player makes in character creation. Hammerfell would be rich for exploration due to the presence of Dwemer architecture. The Alik'r Desert would also provide an interesting dynamic full of ancient, buried ruins that could be explored. Hammerfell has high potential for a new game. If the story of the Aldmeri Dominion is to continue, this location would be an incredible setting for Elder Scrolls VI.
