The Elder Scrolls VI: 10 Things It Must Learn From Fallout 4
4. Expand On The Homestead Features - Base Building
If TES is going to insist on keeping over-encumbered stat - meaning you only have a designated amount of space in your inventory, determined by the weight of what you pick up - then we should be able to build small bases and places of rest to pack everything away. Skyrim's Homestead DLC pioneered this and Fallout 4's demo showed it's been carried across to that franchise - but how many times have you been out and about slaying dragons and the like, only to find you can't bring back the best rewards from your time in the wild? Dragon bones and scales are hefty things, so carry forward what F4 looks to be making a core gameplay feature, expanding on what Homestead brought to the fore by ensuring people never have to whittle down their inventory just for the sake of making it home safely again.
