Bat-fans have long debated which of the two Tim Burton films is superior to the other, but one thing that's way less contested is which of the two games comes out on top.

While Batman 1989 is considered something of a seminal classic for the SNES, Batman Returns wasn't considered a massive step-up. The SNES version of the game drew solid reviews but the same could not be said of the one developed for the Sega Master Force, which critics noted paled in comparison.
