Every Harry Potter Video Game Ranked Worst To Best
8. Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup
A lot of Harry Potter video game fans have fond memories of Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup, and it's understandable why. Quidditch is arguably the best feature invented for a world filled with wizards and their broomsticks, and the sport's sequence in the first Harry Potter film arguably sold the magic and wonder of this world better than any other moment when it hit audience's screens.
Asking the question of what would it be like to see Harry Potter trying to go down the FIFA route of things, players of Quidditch World Cup have the chance to take the broomstick of any one of the four great houses of Hogwarts, as well as some of the world's best countries from the books and play through exhibition or the Quidditch World Cup.
But, whilst everything looks sounds, and plays fine enough for the time, there just isn't a lot to do in this game. None of the game's choice of broomsticks or weather conditions impact the game that much, the commentary and animations get pretty repetitive quite quickly, and the lack of game modes leave everything feeling like a grind.
The premise of a game devoted to Quidditch is great, the execution is solid enough but Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup would do well from a remastering now.
