Every LEGO Video Game Ranked From Worst To Best
2. Batman
2008's Lego Batman was the first Lego video game franchise based on existing characters to actually feature an original plot, and made good on its huge selection of characters and incredibly well-realised locations ripped from the Caped Crusader's lore.
2012's sequel, Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, introduced full voice acting and an open-world to the series, while adding more DC heroes to the mix such as Superman, Wonder Woman and The Flash. On the whole, a confident, consistent follow-up.
And finally, there's 2014's Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, which is easily the worst of the three games, in that it fails to innovate in the same way that DC Super Heroes did, and features bizarre cameos from the likes of Kevin Smith and Conan O'Brien. Still, not bad by any means.
If the third game doesn't manage the same level of consistency, these games still do a mostly fantastic job with an amazing license.
