Every LEGO Video Game Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Harry Potter
Harry Potter was in fact the first licensed franchise to get its own Lego video game, with 2001's widely-panned construction sim Lego Creator: Harry Potter and 2002's better-received sequel, Creator: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
This, of course, was before Traveller's Tales started developing Lego games, and they later produced two Potter titles, Lego Harry Potter: Years 1–4 in 2010, and Years 5-7 in 2011.
It's clear from the outset that a ton of effort was put into making the Potter Lego games feel unique, what with the ability to cast spells, while actually sticking rather closely to the plot (as can't exactly be said for some of the Lego movie tie-ins).
The best thing about these games is the consistency, because they feel like two parts of the same whole, and considering the amount of content, it's pretty admirable that the games weren't carved up into annual releases or chunks of DLC.
Better than most other Lego tie-ins, Potter understands the essence of the source material while being unafraid to parody it.
