Every LittleBigPlanet Game RANKED

6. LittleBigPlanet (PSP)

Little Big Planet
Sony

LittleBigPlanet for the PSP was impressive for its time: it was LittleBigPlanet but portable, and surprisingly it didn't suck. That doesn't mean that the game is worth playing today though.

LittleBigPlanet for PSP serves as a direct sequel to the original LittleBigPlanet storywise better than LittleBigPlanet 2 does. After defeating The Collector in the first game, Sackboy goes on a vacation. The local Creator Curators have been invited to a carnival but they haven't responded. Sackboy must visit the different worlds and get the Creator Curators to attend the carnival.

The plot has zero stakes, which doesn't help with how underwhelming the rest of the game is due to the console it's on, but the worlds you visit on the journey are filled with creativity. Tinsel Town is a highlight of the entire series, with Sackboy becoming an actor in what must be the world's most dangerous movie set.

The most impressive thing is the creative mode. Whilst it's limiting, even only having two layers instead of the three or more that other games have, you can make half-decent creations in the game. Sadly you can't share any of said half-decent creations as the servers for this game were shut down in 2016.
