5. LittleBigPlanet 3
LittleBigPlanet 3 really did kill the franchise for a while. It seems to have recovered to some extent with the recent release of Sackboy: A Big Adventure, but the LittleBigPlanet name hasn't been used since this game.
LittleBigPlanet 3 released as an incredibly buggy game where you'd fall through the world every other level. The story, whilst introducing the excellent villain Newton, was too short. The three new playable characters Toggle, OddSock, and Swoop were charming but under-utilised.
The thing is though, the game isn't awful. The creativity in the story is on par with the other LittleBigPlanet games - any game with a heist in a casino whilst you're tiny and a drive-in in space can't be too bad.
The other big positive is that this game has the best creative mode out of any LittleBigPlanet game by default. It has all the tools from the previous two games in it as well as its own features.
The game also has some of the best crossovers with its DLC. Some examples include Back to the Future, Adventure Time, Doctor Who, and SpongeBob Squarepants.
The game isn't bad, it just could have been more. Look, LittleBigPlanet 3, we're not angry, we're just disappointed.
