4. The Rhino: First Round
These Spider-Man games know how to make a good first impression.
The game starts with an exciting, destructive, and kinetic set piece. As Miles, you get to chase Rhino across the city, ride him through a shopping mall, and then beat the holy hell out of him with your newly found electric powers. It's incredibly cinematic, with some excellent sweeping shots during the gameplay.
Being the first boss, it's not very challenging, but it's a marked improvement over the 2018 game's opening encounter, The Kingpin. It's more exciting, more visually stimulating, and feels like the perfect first mission in a Spider-Man game.
