Every Spider-Man: Miles Morales Boss Ranked From Worst To Best

When the main villain of this game was announced to be the Tinkerer, many were confused, and most were disappointed. The Tinkerer is normally a boring and inconsequential villain; someone who just invents things is hardly what you'd call riveting.

By recreating the villain as a younger, stronger, and more driven threat however, Insomniac are able to transform the character into something altogether more special. She's also Miles' best friend. Her motivation is the murder of her brother, and her plan for revenge slowly deteriorates her relationship with Miles, and leads to an emotionally charged final boss.

This has the same narrative heft of the Doctor Octopus fight, mixed with frantic, action-packed and challenging gameplay. Unlike Doctor Octopus, the Tinkerer throws everything and the kitchen sink at you in order to stop you. There are turrets, mines, fast melee attacks, and giant saws.

It's a long, four phase battle, and an incredibly rewarding final challenge to end everything. It's without question the best boss of the game, and has a strong case for being the best boss of the series.
