8. Deathloop
It's hard to not fall in love fast with Deathloop when you first see the trailer for it. It's witty, it's fresh, and it's got an undeniably fascinating plot. A man trapped in a timeloop so he can be repeatedly hunted? Undeniably dark, but also wonderful stuff.
It doesn't hurt things that it's also made by the same people who made Dishonoured, and - while this is very transparent in the teleporting mechanics - it bodes pretty damn well for the game having a damn good fighting system too.
