10. Chris Jericho '01

Rating: 92

Last Year's Rating: 88

With Y2J enjoying a distinguished revival in WWE at the minute, it's fitting to have his true break-out year in WWE 2K17 when he was heading to the height of his powers.

His hair is a bit of a joke, to be honest, but the thicker physique is pretty spot on. Even if there is something horribly mesmerising about those boobs.

9. The Rock

Rating: 92

Last Year's Rating: 91

Increasing his work-load in Hollywood has actually increased The Rock's profile in 2K Games: he's jumped a whole point since last year, despite not wrestling much in the past year at all. It seems he's transcended to real legend status.

The likeness is a little patchy though.

8. Goldberg

Rating: 92

Last Year's Rating: N/A

Given that Goldberg was used so heavily in the marketing and was the game's pre-order bonus this year, it's a little surprising that he wasn't billed closer to Brock Lesnar to set up an in-game rivalry, but Lesnar probably called the shots.

It's great to have Goldberg in the game no matter what, and he was never going to be lower than 90. Looks great too.

7. The Undertaker '00

2K Games

Rating: 93

Last Year's Rating: 92

Great likeness, great look, great era to have a Taker character from: his Judgment Day return made way for a hell of a half-year of PPVs for Taker, with battles against Kurt Angle, Kane, Chris Benoit, The Rock, the McMahons... It's only right that a main-eventer of that level would be in the game's top 5%.

Undertaker '01 was 92, so it's a step up.
