Evolve: 7 Things Needed Before It Dies Out
3. New Leaderboards
The only leaderboards in Evolve are focused on wins, which realistically depends on the team around you - and even as a world #1 I disliked them.
Too many people pride themselves on their ranking and the wins they had, and it's got to the point where you're not particularly looking at the most skilled players in the world, but those who've just had the most spare time - inevitably getting very good through pure exposure to everything on offer and nothing else.
New leaderboards would take away the need some players may have developed to win EVERY game, and could stop some from leaving when they're about to lose - as they care too much about the only leaderboard currently available.
Ranked leaderboards where co-op match wins/losses don't count would force more players to actually play the PvP modes to rack up wins - quickening matchmaking searches in the process and increasing the size of the player pool.
A leaderboard which shows the average statistics per minute, whether it's the average damage for assault, or heals as a medic, would be a good addition, as it'd encourage people to improve their game in certain aspects. Not only that, laid back leaderboards like "Most Wildlife Kills" or "Most Monster Kill-Shots" would be interesting to look at, making it feel more relaxed at times.
