Evolve: 7 Things Needed Before It Dies Out
2. Quicker Patches
Nowadays, every game that comes out either has a launch-day patch, or is laced with bugs - Evolve has had a fair share of them.
The visuals completely bug out on some maps, and huge leaves flicker on and off your screen like no tomorrow, and although it isn't game threatening, it's an inconvenience we shouldn't have to deal with. However, what is game threatening is downed players falling through the map, especially on Rescue where the aim is to revive and save downed survivors.
There were clearly some OP moves/items on both the hunters and the monsters, and it took so long for Turtle Rock to actually patch it, with the reason being that they were holding a tournament. Cheers, Turtle Rock - completely forgot the only people that own the game were the couple of hundred who arrived at a tournament, how inconsiderate of us to expect a patch, eh?
Quicker patches and fixes are needed as many people see it as a buggy mess - immediately trading it in and claiming it was a bad game, when it really is a fantastic multiplayer experience. Still, when our already limited content isn't running smoothly, it'll just cause crippling problems.
